Aliya Akram | Motion Graphics Designer

Hi, I’m Aliya! A London-based Motion Graphics Designer and Illustrator specialising in 2D and 3D design. I design and animate visuals that tell stories, communicate ideas clearly, and engage audiences.

I studied Motion Graphics at Ravensbourne, where I built a foundation in design and storytelling that continues to shape my work today. My inspiration often comes from everyday experiences, whether visiting museums and exhibitions or simply taking a walk in nature, these moments spark new ideas and push me to experiment with different approaches.

I’m especially drawn to projects that have purpose, from supporting social causes to creating work that brings joy. Design, for me, is a way to connect people, simplify ideas, and make a difference.

Outside of design, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, learning to sew my own wardrobe, and travelling to explore new cultures. These experiences keep me curious and constantly bring fresh perspectives into my creative process.

Every project is a chance to grow, refine my craft, and create work that resonates with people in a meaningful way.
